Breakwater Lodge

Once a 19th century prison, the hotel today provides comfortable, inexpensive accommodation in spectacular setting that looks out over the harbour and up to Table Mountain. Located on the doorstep of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the Breakwater lodge is the most affordable and convenient of hotels. Restaurants, pubs, theatres and shops are all a stone's throw from the hotel. The hotel is also within easy reach of Cape Town`s main beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay and Blouberg, mountain walks and city hotspots, museums and various sporting activities.

Rooms
Breakwater lodge has 300 rooms (including business and family suites), with options ranging from twin, double and single rooms with en-suite bath or shower, to single and twin rooms sharing a shower. The rooms are all comfortable, welcoming and attractively furnished. They are all equipped with TV / radio and a direct-dial telephone. If you need a little refreshment, a welcome tray with biscuits and the facility to make your own tea and coffee is supplied.

Meals
The Treadmill Restaurant & Bar serves a la carte meals for lunch and dinner, and provides breathtaking views of both Table Mountain and the Waterfront. Stonebreakers is a self-service restaurant at Breakwater Lodge, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in-between.

Rates
Applicable to twin and double rooms with private bathrooms. Price on application for suites, or twin and double rooms with shared facilities.
