Pioneer Camp
Londolozi Pioneer Camp is west of Founders Camp. The two camps are the offspring of the original Londolozi Bush camp. With only 6 rooms (3 suites and 3 chalets) Pioneer Camp accommodates a maximum of 12 persons, making the camp perfect for an exclusive getaway for small groups as well as individuals. The colonial-styled safari camp is situated on a gentle rise with stunning views of the surrounding bushveld and the river below.

Pioneer Camp Rooms
There are three suites and three chalets at Pioneer camp which are all decorated in classic safari style, with luxurious finishes. The suites have a fireplace and personal bar, and en-suite bathrooms fitted with luxury bath and indoor and outdoor shower. The three chalets have river views, are air-conditioned with a personal bar and have beautiful en-suite bathrooms with a bath and outdoor shower. Facilities include safes, air-conditioning, room fans, separate wc's in the suites, telephone, hairdryers, and one suite which is designed for disabled guests, with suitable fittings. All rooms have twin beds, which are easily converted into double beds.

Pioneer Camp Meals
An interactive kitchen is open to the indoor and deck dining areas, and delicious Pan-African cuisine is prepared before your eyes by highly trained chefs. Elaborate lamp- and fire-lit dinners are enjoyed in the intimate boma (outdoor dining area), or in the African wilderness. Delicious food accompanied by excellent wines make mealtimes special.

Pioneer Camp Guest Areas
The dining room and large sitting room are open plan with the kitchen, which makes mealtimes a unique interactive experience. There is a swimming pool in the camp where many a hot hour has been whiled away, and an African Boma (outside dining area) where evening meals can be enjoyed under the stars. Although there is no curio shop at Pioneer lodge, guests are welcome to visit Bateleur Camp.

Pioneer Camp Activities
View Africa's most impressive wildlife on morning and evening game-drives in open game-viewing vehicles and on guided nature walks. The game viewing experience is complemented by other activities such as stargazing, bird watching, moonlit bush dinners (weather permitting), bush banqueting and bush presentations in the interpretive center. Fishing with bamboo rods and ‘magic boxes’ for children, Visits to the staff village encompass the crèche, the school, the adult learning centre, the clinic and the craft centre.

Pioneer Camp Child Policy
Children are welcome at Londolozi's Pioneer Camp, although triple rooms are not possible. Regretfully, children 5 years and younger cannot participate in game-drives.
