Phinda Mountain Lodge is a scenic African safari lodge which has unsurpassed views of the Ubombo Mountains and the African bushveld, and is set apart from other safari lodges with its dramatic location: Phinda Mountain Lodge has 20 air-conditioned suites, each with a private sitting room and luxury en-suite bathroom. Mountain Lodge boasts a shaded swimming pool with a spectacular game viewing deck overlooking Phinda reserve, ensuring the best game experience even when wallowing in the luxury of the pool.
Observe the serenity of the South African wilderness from your private deck, surrounded by the indigenous trees and shrubbery of the pristine Zululand bushveld. Each suite features a comfortable sitting area below the large beds. Paved pathways lead down the mountainside from the main guest areas to the spacious suites – a subtly executed blend of avant-garde and ethnic design.
Meals
Delicious Pan-African cuisine is enjoyed in the dramatic boma (outdoor dining area) illuminated by dozens of candles and lanterns, or served to you in a spectacular clearing in the bush under a star-studded sky. Phinda Mountain lodge is renowned for wonderful bush banqueting in surprising settings.
Guest Areas and Conference facilities
The guest dining and sitting areas, shaded terrace and bar open out onto cool decks with spectacular views of the Lebombo Mountains and bushveld. Additional facilities include an African crafts shop, a dramatic open-air boma, conference room for up to 70 delegates, shaded swimming pool and lookout deck.
