About SabiSabi
Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve is situated within one of the oldest and largest proclaimed private reserves - the renowned Sabi Sand Wildtuin, and is integrated with the adjacent Kruger National Park. Sabi Sabi was established in 1980, and since then it has given thousands of visitors a unique luxury safari experience in the heart of the African Bush whilst playing an important role in protecting and enhancing the environment. SabiSabi has put into place many systems, training programs and local community initiatives to improve the lives of all inhabitants of the area and has therefore achieved a wonderful and very sustainable balance in eco-tourism.

SabiSabi Wildlife
There are various habitats in Sabi Sabi, including savannah, bush and scrub which support a huge variety of wildlife, with over 200 mammal species. These include lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo making SabiSabi a Big 5 reserve. There are no fences between the reserves of Kruger, SabiSabi and the other Sabi Wildtuin reserves, and animals therefore can move freely over a vast area.

SabiSabi Birdlife
There are over 350 species of bird recorded at Sabi Sabi, which include magnificent eagles, hawks, buzzards and vultures, owls, storks, herons and ornately coloured bee-eaters. Bring your binoculars and bird books just to relax and enjoy the prolific birdlife from one of our special birding hides set up in the reserve.

SabiSabi Game Activities
Highly experienced game rangers and trackers will take you deep into the bushveld with an open vehicle for the best game viewing experiences. Game drives take place in the mornings and afternoons / evenings. You can also request a safari on foot, which is one of the most exciting ways to share in Africa's beautiful wild creatures, both large and small, and this experience is highly recommended.
