SabiSabi Selati Camp
Romantic is the best way to describe SabiSabi's Selati Camp, and there is a timeless, colonial elegance which allows you to imagine the Africa of the great safari era and big game hunting. From near the camp, one can view the railway line that carried gold across Sabi Sabi from the Drakensberg escarpment in the late 1800's. Selati has been designed to be small and intimate and combines rustic effects with luxurious comfort. Selati Lodge graciously combines indoor and outdoor areas with effortless elegance.

Selati Camp Meals
At night Selati Camp is lit only by the flicker of oil lamps, the warm glow of fires and the spectacular canopy of the Southern night sky. Gourmet meals are enjoyed either in the outdoor boma or in the intimate farmhouse-style dining room. There is also a dining verandah for breakfasts and lunches, which gives beautiful views over the surrounding bush.

Selati Camp Rooms
At Selati Lodge, there are 8 individually decorated suites. Each air-conditioned suite features has a touch of colonialism, with natural draping fabrics and palatial bathrooms. The en-suite bathrooms feature internal & external showers and beautiful baths with bush views. The rooms have queen-sized beds, dressing rooms, overhead fans, and a lounge area. Facilities for your comfort include hairdryers, a safe, study and telephone.

Selati Camp Honeymooners
For the most special romantic occasions, the Ivory Suite is the one to choose, as it has a king-sized bed, its own patio and plunge pool as well as all of the conveniences offered in the other luxury suites. A private landrover is also set aside exclusively for the occupants of the Ivory Suite with your own Shangaan tracker and experienced game ranger.

Selati Camp Guest Areas
There is a gracious Boma where dinner is enjoyed under a star lit sky, which is beautifully lit by oil lamps and lanterns and bush fires. There is also a dining verandah for breakfasts and dinners, a gracious luxury lounge, as well as a bar fully stocked with international and national wines and spirits. The lodge swimming pool is a wonderful retreat during those hot afternoons with its shaded areas. For your convenience there are fax and telephone facilities.

Selati Camp Child Policy
Providing there is exclusivity of Selati Camp with family and / or friends children may be allowed. Selati Camp can accommodate 2 family rooms with a maximum of 2 children per room. Children 16 years and older are considered adults. Please Note : Sabi Sabi reserves the right of allowing or disallowing children on game drives for any possible reason and this is at the discretion of the General Manager or the ranger of the vehicle

SELATI CAMP CHILD RATES
Providing there is exclusivity of Selati lodge with family and / or friends children may be allowed and the following rates will apply:

2 Years and younger: Stay free of charge in a cot.
3 - 5 Years: Sharing with 1 or 2 adults pay R350-00 per child per night.
6 - 12 Years: Sharing with 1 or 2 adults pay R850-00 per child per night.

Children occupying their own room will pay the full adult rate for a maximum of 1 child (if 4 children sharing the remaining 3 will revert to the children's rates).

Children 13 - 15 years having their own room will be charged as follows:

One child at 50% of the adult rate.
