Bayethe Lodge is in the heart of Shamwari reserve is built with stone walls and thatched roofs. Highlights are relaxing on the viewing deck, overlooking the river pools where many species of animals and birds come to drink. It is easy to forget that there is more to the world when you are relaxing around the fireplace, with the gentle humming and chirruping of crickets as the background accompaniment.As with all lodges in Shamwari, Bayethe Lodge offers the ultimate in luxury, although offering tented accommodation. Each of the 9 twin-bedded rooms is nestled along the bed of the river and camouflaged under trees allowing ample privacy and unsurpassed comforts. Each tented toom is air-conditioned and heated and has an en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower, private plunge pool and viewing deck. Early morning and evening game viewing drives in open land rovers as well as guided nature walks and bird watching are all part of this magnificent experience.

Bayethe Lodge offers a large lounge and dining room, also with the theme of stone walls and thatch. There is an outdoor banqueting boma, where one can enjoy the most creative array of dishes. The crystal clear swimming pool on the large viewing deck overlook the Buffalo River and you can spot game whilst cooling down.
